Rapid Metro from Sikandarpur
The Rapid Metro is a fully elevated, 12.85 km line with 11 stations. Sikandarpur is where its two sections meet:
- Phase 1 (opened 2013–2014): a loop through DLF Phase 2, Belvedere Towers, Cyber City, Moulsari Avenue and DLF Phase 3. This serves the DLF Cyber City office district.
- Phase 2 (opened March–April 2017): south along Golf Course Road through DLF Phase 1, Sector 42–43, Sector 53–54, Sector 54 Chowk and Sector 55–56.
DMRC took over day-to-day running of the Rapid Metro in 2019. In September 2025, the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRTC) started moving operations to Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL), with DMRC and GMRL managing it jointly until the handover is complete. Services continue as before for passengers.

- Get off the train and follow the signs for the Rapid Metro (or the Yellow Line, if you are coming from Cyber City).
- Walk across the covered walkway of about 90 metres that joins the two stations.
- The Rapid Metro charges its own fare, so pass through its fare gates as shown on the signs. DMRC smart cards and tokens are accepted on the Rapid Metro.
- Pick your platform: Platform 1 for Golf Course Road and Sector 55–56, Platform 2 for Cyber City and DLF Phase 3.
- In office peak hours, the walkway and Rapid Metro platforms get crowded. Allow a few extra minutes.
Gates and exits
The station opens onto MG Road, close to Sikanderpur village and market and the DLF Phase 1 side. Public station guides list the gates in different ways, so we have not given a gate-by-gate table. Use the signboards on the concourse, or the station page on the DMRC app, to find the exit nearest your destination.
Fares and timings
- Yellow Line fare: since 25 August 2025, Delhi Metro fares are ₹11 to ₹64 from Monday to Saturday and ₹11 to ₹54 on Sundays and national holidays, based on distance.
- Rapid Metro fare: flat fares, reported at ₹20 for a trip within one phase and ₹35 between Phase 1 and Phase 2. The HMRTC board has recommended a small increase, so check the current fare at the counter before you travel.
- Yellow Line timings: trains run from around 6 AM to around 11 PM or later. First and last train times differ by direction and on Sundays.
- Rapid Metro timings: roughly 6 AM to 10 PM, so it closes earlier than the Yellow Line. Plan late trips from Cyber City with this in mind.

- Homes: DLF Phase 1, 2 and 3, Sectors 42–43 and 53–56 along Golf Course Road, and builder floors and paying-guest rooms in Sikanderpur and nearby villages.
- Short-stay renters: many people who work in Cyber City rent near Yellow Line stations such as MG Road, Guru Dronacharya or further north in Delhi, and change at Sikandarpur.
Before you rent or buy near Sikandarpur
