Why the station has two names
The station was named after the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), which planned the sectors around it. HUDA was later renamed Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP). On 3 July 2023, DMRC announced a new name for the station. It first said “Gurugram City Centre”, then “Millennium City Centre”, and by that night settled on Millennium City Centre Gurugram, the name used on DMRC maps and in the app today.
In ticketing apps, search for “Millennium City Centre”. With auto and cab drivers, “HUDA City Centre” is still the name most people know.
