Aqua Line extension to Botanical Garden

In February 2026 the Union Cabinet approved an 11.56 km extension of the Noida Metro Aqua Line from Sector 142 to Botanical Garden, with eight new elevated stations at an estimated cost of ₹2,254 crore. The reported timeline is four years. When ready, Botanical Garden will link the Blue, Magenta and Aqua Lines, giving a direct metro ride from the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway belt to this station. Treat the timeline as an estimate.

Renting or buying near Botanical Garden

The sectors around the station are older, planned Noida sectors with a mix of plotted houses, builder floors and group housing societies. Tenants who work in Noida, south Delhi or Gurugram use the station because both lines meet here: the Blue Line for central Delhi and the Magenta Line for Hauz Khas, the airport and onward Yellow Line trips to Gurugram.

  • Check the circle rate. Stamp duty in Uttar Pradesh is charged on the deal value or the Gautam Buddh Nagar circle rate, whichever is higher.
  • Check the lease and transfer status. Most Noida land is leasehold from the Noida Authority. Ask for the lease deed, transfer memorandum and the authority’s no-dues papers.
  • Check RERA for new projects. For any new flat, look up the project on UP RERA before you pay a booking amount.
  • Put the tenancy in writing. Sign a rent agreement with rent, deposit, lock-in and maintenance clearly listed.
